Boys State Taps Samsung Scholarship Finalist
A senior at Long Island’s Manhasset High School was named as a Samsung American Legion Scholarship National Finalist. William M. Delaney was selected by the staff of New York’s American Legion Boys State, which was held at SUNY Morrisville from June 27 to July 3, 2014.

Concerts at Northport VA
The Northport, NY VA Medical Center is hosting a free summer concert series for veterans and the community every Wednesday evening starting at 6:30.
The concert series is sponsored by Northport American Legion Post 694 with the support of Suffolk Vietnam Veterans of American (Chap. 11), Disabled American Veterans, and Northport VA Medical Center Voluntary, Recreation and Nursing Services.
