Auburn Posts Support ‘Wreaths Across America’ Event
AUBURN – Two Auburn American Legion Posts are helping to sponsor Cayuga County’s Wreaths Across America ceremony at noon, Saturday, Dec. 12, at The Episcopal Church of SS. Peter & John, 169 Genesee St., the Auburn Citizen reports. The day is the same as Wreaths Across America’s ceremony in Arlington.

Long Island Legionnaires Donate Comfort, Rehab Items
“It’s the act of giving – one veteran to another.”
That’s how Operation Comfort Warrior (OCW) Program Director Bruce Drake described Suffolk County American Legion’s presentation of thousands of dollars in comfort, recreational and rehab items to the Northport VA Medical Center and Women’s Clinic on Tuesday (Nov. 24).

Boys State Icon Al Paviglianti Passes at 92
Legionnaire Albert Paviglianti was a proud World World II marine who, at the age of 92, passed on to Post Everlasting on Nov. 10, 2015 – fittingly, on the birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps.
