Legion’s Impact: An Exclusive Interview with Grandson of a Legion Founder
American Legion Department of New York Commander Gary Schacher sat down for an exclusive interview with Ted Roosevelt IV, grandson of the American Legion co-founder, and great grandson of the 26th U.S. President.The interview touches on a wide-range of topics including why the Legion was established, its advocacy efforts, some of its greatest accomplishments and what the Legion is trying to do for the newest generation of veterans — and some stories about the Roosevelts! The interview was debuted at the Legion’s Mid-Winter Conference on January 27.
