2018-2019 Department Commander Gary Schacher sat down for an exclusive interview with Ted Roosevelt IV, grandson of the American Legion co-founder, and great grandson of the 26th U.S. President.
The interview touches on a wide-range of topics including why the Legion was established, its advocacy efforts, some of its greatest accomplishments, what the Legion is trying to do for the newest generation of veterans — and some stories about the Roosevelts! The interview was debuted at the Legion’s Mid-Winter Conference on January 27, 2019.
