    A new Department of New York voucher is now available on the Resources page (as both a Word doc and fillable PDF).

    The new voucher is to be used for all events and activities going forward, following July’s Department Convention. The voucher reflects new per diem and mileage rates approved at the convention.

    Fazio Is Service Officer of the Year

    Peter J. Fazio, a service officer with Jefferson County Veterans’ Service Agency, is the 2016 Service Officer of the Year, Veterans Services Chair R. Michael Suter announced at the Department Convention, held July 14-16 in Binghamton. (Convention Photo Gallery.)

    Fazio was cited for “his superior advocacy skills and personal initiative” as an accredited representative of The American Legion.
