  The Junior Shooting Sports program held a championship tournament in February at Cicero American Legion Post, attracting some skilled competitors.

  Junior Shooting Chair Larry Behling announced top performers during July’s Department Convention in Binghamton:

  

  Middletown Post Champion Shooting Team includes Tyler Jetomlon, Angel Ryes, Nickolas Weier, and Kaylee Morales.

  — First Place Team / American Legion National Match Sporter Air Rifle: Middletown Post 151 team consisting of Nickolas Weier, Kaylee Morales, Angel Ryes and Tyler Jetomlong.

  — First Place Individual / American Legion National Match Sporter Air Rifle: Tyler Jetomlong of Middletown Post 151.

  — First Place Team / American Legion National Precision Air Rifle Match: William Floyd Post, Mystic Beach, with team members Rebecca Phillips, Christoper Ballas, Scott Amato and Rebecca Shanley.

  — First Place Individual / American Legion National Precision Air Rifle Match: Andre Gross of Webster Post 942.
