Vets Converge on Albany for Mid-Winter Conference
ALBANY — Jobs, post-traumatic stress, suicide prevention and other veterans’ issues will be on the minds of nearly 1,200 American Legion members as they gather Jan. 22-24 for the Department of New York’s 97th Annual Mid-Winter Conference at The Desmond Hotel and Conference Center here. Another 700 members of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion also will be addressing veteran and family issues as they hold concurrent meetings at nearby hotels on Wolf Road.
