The New York State American Legion will celebrate the third annual Legion Family Homecoming on Saturday, May 19, at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Albany. The Homecoming honors Department Commander Rena Nessler, Department President Patricia Hennessy and Detachment Commander William Clancy.

Legion Family College is a three-day immersion into Legion programs and structure as well as issues facing the largest veterans’ service organization.
It is open to members of the Legion, the Auxiliary, the Sons of the American Legion, and American Legion Riders.
The college takes place June 1-3 at Morrisville State College.

The American Legion uses the reports to more effectively show the impact of Legion Posts and Legion Programs on community, state and nation.
