  Join the Fun at Legion Family Homecoming on May 19

  The New York State American Legion will celebrate the third annual Legion Family Homecoming on Saturday, May 19, at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Albany. The Homecoming honors Department Commander Rena Nessler, Department President Patricia Hennessy and Detachment Commander William Clancy.

  The gala gets underway with a social hour at 6 p.m. Dinner starts at 7, followed by the dinner program and dancing.

  For those interested, Saturday morning features a Casino trip (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

  Members of the Legion, the Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion are invited.

  Dinner cost is $67. Dinner choices are:

  – Roaster pork with a pineapple glaze
  – BBQ salmon with a pineapple relish
  – Chicken Teriyaki
  – Vegetable Strudel
