  West Seneca Loses Game in 2nd Round of Regional Championships

  New York’s West Seneca Post 735 lost to Red Land Post 974 of Pennsylvania, 6-3, in the second day of the American Legion Regional Baseball Championships in Leesburg, VA.

  Red Land got an early 3-0 lead, and even though West Seneca came back to tie the game, Red Land pulled ahead with a bases-loaded walk home and then two runs batted in. Red Land goes forward with two wins while West Seneca is 1-1 and now faces first-round loser Albermarle of Virgina in Friday’s round. The loser of this game will be eliminated.
