Sporter Air Rifle Championships Take Place Feb. 14-15 in Cicero
The 2015 New York State American Legion Sporter Rifle Championship Match takes place Feb. 14-15 at Cicero Legion Post, Cicero, NY, announced Jr. Shooting Sports Chairman Lawrence Behling. Snow date is Feb. 21-22.
The competition is open to students enrolled in middle or high school, or equivalent educational program such as home schooling. Teams should be composed of individuals from the same post/school.
Current national Three-Position Air Council rules apply to this match. Overall match trophies will be awarded to teams and individuals in first through third place. Competitions will be eligible for EIC points, and CMP Achievement Pins will be awarded.
Air rifles or equivalent will comply with 2014-2016 National Standard Three-Position Air Rifle Rules.
Entry fee must be pre-paid and is $10 per individual for individual and team competitors.
