This year’s first place team was from Post 401 in Owego, captained by Brian White.
Second place went to Tom Hurlbut’s team from Post 974 in Whitney Point, and third place went to Matt Mosher’s team from Post 443 in Chemung County.
Longest drive for men went to Jorden Updyke and longest drive for women was hit by Jill Bixby from Post 974 in Whitney Point. Closest to the pin for men was hit by Steve Livermore from Post 401 in Owego, and for women it was Cindy Quarella from Post 974 in Whitney Point.
The prize for “Most Honest Team” was captured by Jay McIntyre’s team from Whitney Point Post 974.
“Congratulations to all Prize winners!” Krumins said. “ After golf, everyone enjoyed an outstanding steak and buffet dinner.”
Krumins thanked the golf course owner and staff for their hospitality and said he hoped to see even more teams participate next year on August 6, 2027 “in this simply fun day of golf for all Legion Family members.”
