Immediate Past Department Commander Gary Schacher and Department Adjutant James Casey brought a bit of Cooperstown to the stage at The American Legion National Convention in Indianapoiis Monday.

They wielded American Legion Centennial baseball bats, made for the Department of New York by Cooperstown Bat Co. for the Baseball Hall of Fame’s American Legion weekend last March in celebration of both the centennial and American Legion Baseball.
