Tops Offers Veterans Day Discount for Vets
On Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11, Tops Friendly Markets will offer an 11 percent discount off of a total order to all veterans and their immediate family members who shop at any Tops location, Tops President Ron Ferri announced on Oct. 24.
“Customers should present proof of service that they, or a family member living in the same household, are a U.S. Veteran, active duty, reserve or retired military personnel to automatically receive an 11 percent discount off of their total purchase that day.”
Ferri added: “I would like to personally thank the men and women that protect(ed) our great nation. Your sacrifices are immeasurable and we are forever grateful for your service.”

Direct Deposit Now Available for Posts
The Department is looking to improve the current monthly process for issuing Post credit checks since the threshold has been lowered from $100.00 to $25.00, Department Adjutant James Casey announced.
“We hope to begin making monthly electronic payments by directly depositing credit amounts of $25.00+ into the bank accounts of those Posts who have met that threshold. Our hope is that all Posts will participate in this initiative as it will ensure that money due to you is deposited quickly, as well as eliminating the handling and delays of a mailed check.”
In order to facilitate this process, Post treasurers are encouraged to complete the direct-depost authorization form and return to Department Headquarters at their earliest convenience.
