    Legion to Honor Memory of Past Auxiliary, SAL Leaders

    A Memorial Service for Past Department Auxiliary President Regina Harris and Past Sons of the American Legion (SAL) Detachment Commander John Rogers will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 15, “to celebrate their lives and honor their service to the American Legion,” Kings County SAL Commander Joe SantaCroce announced.

    The service will be at Floyd Bennett Post 1060, 5601 Avenue N (corner of East 56th Street), Brooklyn, New York 11234. Presiding will be Msgr. Jamie Gigantiello, former Pastor of Mary Queen of Heaven Church, “Regina & John’s parish,” SantaCroce said.

    “To those who wish to personally honor Regina or John, an opportunity to speak will be afforded during the ceremony,” he noted.

    The Post will provide refreshments after the service.
