  Legion Family Homecoming Gala Is June 10

  The New York State American Legion will celebrate the second annual Legion Family Homecoming on Saturday, June 10, at Vernon Downs Casino Hotel in Vernon, NY. The Homecoming honors Department Commander John B. Sampson, Department President Debbie Kryczkowski and Detachment Commander J. Bruce Ruthven.

  The gala gets underway with a social hour at 6 p.m. Dinner starts at 7, followed by the dinner program and dancing.

  A pre-event tour of local historical sites will begin at 10 a.m. that Saturday, with lunch at Oriskany Post 1448.

  Friday night and Saturday afternoon feature hospitality. Sunday morning features a continental breakfast.

  Members of the Legion, the Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion are invited.

  Cut-off date for reservations is May 25.
