National Sons of The American Legion Commander Greg “Doc” Gibbs (former New York Detachment commander) will be honored at a series of “Homecoming” events on April 26 and 27 in Buffalo.

The highlight of the weekend is the Saturday evening dinner at the Historic Pearl Street Grille.

Hotel accommodations are available at Adam’s Mark Hotel (where a block of rooms are reserved under the group name “Sons of the American Legion”).

There will be a “Welcome Room” at the hotel on Friday (as well as all weekend) and a “Meet & Greet” at Gibbs’ home post, Hamburg American Legion Post 527, 2 Memorial Drive, Hamburg.

A Saturday excursion to Niagara Falls is planned (Casino and Falls both within walking distance), with return to Buffalo for dinner Saturday evening at the Historic Pearl Street Grille, a short walk from the Adam’s Mark Hotel.
