American Legion Historians Elect
ALBANY — Members of the New York American Legion Historians Association held their annual meeting Jan. 24 during the Department of New York Mid-Winter Conference and elected officers to serve for one year.
Elected were:
— President: Michael Duggan of Erie County.
— 1st Vice President: James Randle of Nassau County.
— Secretary/Treasurer: John R. Kasmer, Jr. of Erie County.Department Historian Raphael “Buzz” Blevins reports that the meeting included a discussion of the Department Convention, a question-and-answer session on History Books, and a discussion of possible new rules for judging the books.
