Altamont Poker Run on Aug. 24 Benefits Vets Programs
Helderberg American Legion Riders Chapter from Altamont Post 977 is sponsoring the 7th Annual Poker Run on Saturday, Aug. 24 (rain or shine).The run benefits area veterans’ programs. The cost is $25 per person. Registration is from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m., with kickstands up at 10:30, at Voorheesville Fire Department, 12 Altamont Rd. (Rte. 156) in Voorheesville. Breakfast sandwiches and coffee will be available.
The ride ends at Altamont Legion Post 977, 988 Altamont Blvd., Altamont, with food, music and other activities.
