The award of appreciation cited their efforts, in conjunction with Hannaford Supermarkets, to provide over 1,000 Thanksgiving turkeys to active duty service members and veterans. The award also cited them for working with the Albany Housing Coalition to provide clothing to homeless veterans.

Tully received a Purple Heart after sustaining injuries in a suicide bombing and a Bronze Star for his service in Afghanistan.
