Deputy Wyman Memorial Ride Is Sept. 23
American Legion Rider chapters may be interested in participating in the 7th Annual Deputy Kurt Wyman Memorial Motorcyle Ride on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Whitestown Town Park, 5195 Gibson Road, Whitesboro, reports Gary Schacher, state ALR sergeant-at-arms.
Registration is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., with kickstands up at 10. The ride begins and ends at the park. Cost is $25 per driver, $5 per rider.
Food will be provided after the ride. To pre-register, email info@wymanmemorialpark.org.
The ride is part of the Kurt Wyman Memorial Park Fall Festival. Wyman, who served in Iraq as a Marine, was killed in the line of duty as an Oneida County Sheriff’s Deputy in 2011.
