  Betsy Gips Is Legionnaire of the Year

  Betsy J. Gips of Madison County was honored as the state Legionnaire of the Year July 20 during the opening day of the 99th Department Convention being held in Syracuse.

  Department Commander John Sampson presented the award along with Legionnaire of the Year Chairman Joe Goonan and National Vice Commander V. James Troiola.
