  Everyone Can Do It, Recruiter of Year Says

  BALTIMORE — Edgar Johnson, honored Wednesday morning as the American Legion Recruiter of the Year, told National Convention delegates that every Legionnaire can recruit new members with a very simple approach.

  “Just Ask. That’s all you have to do.”

  National Commander Mike Helm lauded Johnson, who hails from Georgia, for recruiting 725 new members. Johnson also attributed his success to “Team Georgia.”
