  Hotel Reservation Extended to April 28 for Commander’s May 17th Homecoming

  TROY — The Homecoming Celebration for Department Commander Kenneth Governor will be held Saturday, May 17, at at the Hilton Garden Inn, 235 Hoosick Street, Troy, NY. The celebration begins with a Hospitality Room in the Presidential Suite from noon until 4 p.m. The evening’s festivities will commence with a social hour at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and dancing in the Ferris Grand Ballroom. Dinner choices include Prime Rib, Chicken Florentine or Halibut.

  A block of rooms has been reserved for The American Legion for Friday, May 16, through Monday, May 19.

  DEADLINE for hotel reservations is extended to April 28, which should be made via the hotel website, www.troy.hgi.com, or by calling 877 STAY HGI or 518-272-1700 . Make reservations before the rooms are sold out. Ask for the special American Legion rate of $109 (use group  code: ALRG).
