  5th District Golf Tourney Is Aug. 2

  The American Legion 5th District 2014 Golf Tournament takes place Aug. 2 at Green Valley Country Club in West Monroe, NY. (The 5th District encompasses Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Oneida, Onondaga and Oswego counties.)

  Open to all Legion Family members, the tournament is sponsored by Onondaga County American Legion Family.

  It gets underway at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start and features a captain and crew format.

  The $65 per person cost ($260 per team) includes 18 holes of golf, cart, and steak dinner.
