5th District Golf Tourney to Benefit USO
The Department of New York’s 5th District will hold its Golf Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 26 at Highland Meadows Golf & Country Club in Watertown, District Golf Chair Michael E. Michalski announced.
Proceeds will benefit the USO.
The 5th District encompasses the counties of Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Oneida, Onondaga and Oswego.
The 18-hole tourney gets underway at 9 a.m., features a Captain and Crew/Best Ball format, and is open to members of the Legion, the Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion.
The cost is $280 per team and includes cart, lunch and prime rib dinner. There will be prizes for the top three teams, longest drive, and closest to the pin.
