National Commander Issues Condolences to NYC Terror Victims
INDIANAPOLIS — American Legion National Commander Denise H. Rohan noted that Tuesday’s truck attack in New York City was a “senseless attack upon innocent civilians” and “is just another reminder of why The American Legion is fully committed to defeating terrorism.”
“We have always maintained that it will be a long protracted struggle, but we must support our men and women in the military and in law enforcement. The first responders again performed admirably and we are grateful to the brave officers who stopped the attack. We pray for the victims and their families.”
